In His Goodness

Psalm 100:4-5

This past Sunday, Alan started the month of July with a message on How God's Goodness Affect Our Lives!

Here were his four points:

In His Goodness, He protects us.

In His Goodness, He is patient with us.

In His Goodness, He guides us.

In His Goodness, He provides for us.

In His Goodness, God gave us commands. These are not to limit our freedom, but they are like guardrails. His commandments protects us. Alan went on to talk about Matthew 7:14-15, contrasting the broad and the narrow road. He showed us a painting (look below).

Those who are on the braod path may seem happy and the road looks smooth, but the end leads to destruction, whereas the narrow way may look difficult, but it leads to eternal life. God is good and we need to see His goodness. Our hearts should overflow with gratitude. We need to daily pledge ourselves to walking in His path, allowing His goodness of protection, provision, and patient guidance to nurture our faith walk... and we need to be engaging in deep prayer for and conversation with others who are traveling on the broad path.
