Joy Comes with the Morning
Psalm 30:5
For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.
This was the last talk on the theme: In His Joy.
Jesus clearly stated that in this world, we will experience trials & tribulations... and that as End Times draw closer, persecution will abound. How to see beyond the weeping and stand firm in the midst of difficulties to welcome the morning with JOY?
The earlier believers were persecuted... and throughout history, believers have suffered... According to the book of Revelation, suffering will increase before Christ's second coming. As I read about the suffering and persecution experienced by the early believers, one astounding truth was that Christianity grew. Suffering did not discourage those who followed Jesus nor did it seem to discourage people from committing their lives to following Jesus. They chose to die verses to recant their faith! And they were known to be joyful, praying for and forgiving their persecutors. They bore much fruit as they remained in Christ.
So, I believe that this month's messages are pertinent for us in 2026. Jesus has given us the Comforter... And we have the word of God. We must repent of lies that we might have believed in and gain back our cutting edge, living firmly rooted in Spirit and in Truth.
