My Tribulation in His Joy

John 15:11 & John 16:33

Again, the Lord brought us another anointed message through the mouth of our brother, John Wu, going deeper in exploring the theme of IN HIS JOY!

How is IN HIS JOY different from IN HIS PRESENCE?

How is His joy different from other emotions of happiness, according to the 'mood meter'?

How is His joy displayed in the midst of trials, hardships, tribulations, and suffering?

How is His joy foundational for our lives?

His joy is not manufactured. His joy is not pretentious. His joy is not denial. His joy is not fake. But rather, His joy is rooted in connection... His joy is built on a firm foundation... His joy is active...

Jesus wept.

Jesus felt anguish.

Jesus experienced betrayal.

And in John 16:33, Jesus clearly stated that in this world we shall have tribulations, trouble, and trials. BUT TAKE HEART! BE IN HIS JOY! REMAIN IN HIS JOY! For He has overcome the world. And it is THIS joy that is in us.
