Supernatural Peace

John 20:19-23

19 On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 20 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. 21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld.”

Pastor Lee shared three personal testimonies to highlight God's supernatural peace:

  1. Peace in the midst of loss: July 30, 2012 at 1am, when her father passed away.

  2. Peace in the midst of unforeseen disaster: November 2, 2002 when the construction site collapsed and appeared on the front page of the United Evening News and on all major news channel.

  3. Peace in the midst of Covid-19 closure: April 20, 2020 when TI House of Prayer for All Nations was official opened.

Our hope is in the LORD and our peace comes through Jesus: His death and resurrection. Peace is a Person and is through our vital relationship with Christ. Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. We can experience supernatural peace...Christ rose and appeared to the disciples and spoke twice these words: Peace be with you. He does the same today...
