In His Favor

Isaiah 54:10

For the mountains may depart

    and the hills be removed,

but my steadfast love shall not depart from you,

    and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,”

    says the Lord, who has compassion on you.

Psalm 5:12

For you bless the righteous, O Lord;

    you cover him with favor as with a shield.

Genesis 6:8

But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

Luke 2:52

 And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.

The theme for the month of May is "In His Favor" and one of our HOP Elders, Dr. John Wu, gave an anointed message, looking at four facets of God's favor: Grace, Protection, Mercy and Growth! The Creator God makes His face to shine upon us... We dwell under the shelter of His favor!

John expounded on each point with these sub-headings:

Grace = Unconditional Acceptance

Protection = Security in the Storm

Mercy = Compassionate Attention

Growth = Maturity & Wisdom
